The rate at which young girls fall rape victims through online dating is increasing by the day. This is the case of a 23-year-old girl who was raped by a man she met on Facebook.
The suspects who have been identified as Felola Uzezi and Mohammed Sanni, are said to be both customs officers.
Apparently the victim had been friends with the suspect, Felola Uzezi on facebook with the duo chatting online, who in turn invited her to his house after months of chatting with him online.
Uzezi who had a different plan reportedly raped his victim at his apartment near the Badagry Expressway, not only that he also invited a friend to join in the act.
The girl was said to have refused to have sex because she was menstruating, but that was not enough reason to stop the suspects from forcefully having sexual intercourse with her as she was allegedly given Uzezi’s boxers to clean up with when they were done with her.
